About the Journal
Journal of Adaptive Sport and Inclusive Movement (JASIM) is an open-access, peer-reviewed academic publication dedicated to advancing empirical research, theoretical discourse, and innovative practices in the fields of adapted physical activity, sports for individuals with disabilities, and inclusive movement cultures, and is published twice a year, in October and April, by PT. Science Movement Indonesia (registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in December 2025, with the number AHU-067696.AH.01.30. Tahun 2025). Serving as an international platform for researchers, educators, coaches, healthcare practitioners, and policymakers to exchange cutting-edge knowledge aimed at dismantling barriers and fostering equity in physical activity across the lifespan, JASIM bridges the gap between scientific inquiry and practical application while highlighting how adaptive sports and inclusive movement contribute to holistic health, social inclusion, and empowerment across key focus areas that include adapted sports and physical education, inclusive movement and recreation, coaching and assistive technology, psychosocial and sociological perspectives, and therapeutic and lifelong exercise.
